Shenick diversifEye™ provides per-telepresence customer end point emulation and real time quality of experience analysis
Burlingame, CA – April 12, 2010 - Shenick Network Systems, the global award winning provider of per-flow, IP communications test systems, has enhanced the functionality of its diversifEye product line by offering multivendor Telepresence customer end point emulation and quality of experience analysis.
Included in its Telepresence test suite is an industry first supporting Telepresence Interoperability Protocol (TIP) testing.
Shenick's new software release offers the first opportunity to test TIP, covering signaling and media for HD/SD video, voice and data. Shenick diversifEye measures performance and quality of experience (QoE) on each and every TIP client in real time.
"The latest generation of telepresence systems offer a truly immersive and collaborative experience, so a key requirement is to understand per user quality of experience under a variety of operational conditions. Shenick's per-flow test architecture is ideally suited as it offers the test granularity to ensure exceptional telepresence client quality" said Jessy Cavazos, Industry Manager, Measurement & Instrumentation, Frost & Sullivan.
Robert Winters, CMO, Shenick said, "Coupling a premium application such as telepresence with a requirement to operate in a multivendor environment is a challenge and guaranteeing customer quality of experience must remain a key delivery objective. TIP offers a pragmatic multivendor approach and broadens the level of testing required. We’re delighted to deliver TIP testing support to the telepresence community"
